About Phil and Nic!

We are Phil and Nic, we’re based in South Yorkshire and specialise in Wedding Photography. By working closely together we are able to capture all those special moments as they happen.

As specialists in reportage photography, we strive to capture the smiles and the tears, the laughter and the romance that are all part of your special day. Our “formal” photographs are designed to portray your unique personality, avoiding endless group photographs, we concentrate on creating a select few fun and enjoyable posed images for you and your family to enjoy.

Nic joined me shooting weddings just before we married in 2000, assisting at first before pestering me for a camera to use. Once she had a camera in hand it was obvious that she was a natural.
Nic has a talent for seeing the day from the bride’s point of view, coming into wedding photography around the time of our own wedding has really embedded those feelings in her photography.

We are regularly complimented on our teamwork and how our sense of humour helps us ‘bounce’ ideas off each other and keep things fun whilst we’re working hard.
After the photography is finished, Nic’s favourite job is mixing the music on our slideshow DVD’s, she seems to have a natural flair for it and no matter how much work I put into putting the DVD together she’ll always claim the credit for them because of her artistic input!

Phil started photographing weddings when he got his first 'proper' camera in the early eighties. By the time we met he was an experienced wedding photographer. Having previously run a wedding and portrait photography business Phil was keen to let me help out on some weddings and pretty soon we became a team.
Phil’s previous experience means that he takes a lead role in choosing suppliers of great products for our customers. He always has a good business reason to buy new ~~toys~~ camera equipment, so that equipment failure doesn't stop us shooting and that we can cope with any situation.

His professional training has enabled us to build on his experience and develop a modern style that combines just enough traditional photography to enhance our reportage style. His wealth of experience means that he always expects the unexpected and that we always deliver a great set of photos that our Brides and Grooms love.

For 2012 we’ve expanded the new pricing model to enable our Brides to spread the cost of their Wedding Photography by including some less expensive albums as well as offering some great deals for Brides choosing to hold their wedding at a single location see details;

Our complete coverage for a weekend wedding is available with the option to add an album or print package at a later date.

A personal photography consultation in preparation to your big day
2 photographers, from the bridal prep (and groom’s prep where possible) to the first dance.
